I’ve been home pretty much a week – with a cold bad enough to make me blank out in front of a tv or compter (or even more scary, while driving), but not bad enough to render my totally immobile. I’ve tried to be a bit productive while I haven’t been well. But seriously, how is it that with only two of us, every time I clean I seem to be making no progess?
I guess that isn’t fair to myself, there has been some progress made. Quite a lot of cooking and I’ve put in some stakes for my peas, trimmed some plants and shrubs, finished some crafty things. But there is still a pile of clean washing in the family room, a pile of dirty washing in the laundry and wet laundry on the drying thingy. I can’t believe that its starting to get too cold to dry washing outside, unless its sunny!! I’ve made a baked banana and rum cheesecake (vegan of course) today and that is cooling. So I guess I am making some progress!
Tomorrow I’ll go back to work, I might have been okay to go today actually but oh well! I’m trying to love my job. Honestly! But its just not right for me. There has been another job advertised which I will apply for – similar to the role I loved in Sydney. Fingers crossed, it would make the next year a much happier one!
When my head is in a better place I’ll continue some of my posts about environmental activism, vegnism and 101 in 1001. I still can’t believe how out of it moving can make you!!!
